Come on, big folks! Come on, kids!
Down the famous old boardwalk from which branches every conceivable avenue of fun and frolic!
Giggles and gurgles and oh's and ah's will issue from Madame Murphy's Beauty Shoppe, for it's just one round of mirrored shifting shapes. You will look at you and not know it's you. You will look at you here and there and everywhere and every you will be a different you. It's a scream.
Then the old Fun House is all dolled up and has a dozen new laughs for you. Red and amber lights show the way to a regular Dante's "Inferno" inside it this year. His satanic majesty presides and the old dog of history guards the doors. Ugh! Spooks and spooks! What a kick you will get!
Bang Away in Shooting Gallery
They've gotta lot of new mallard ducks for the shooting gallery, and the big boss says he has 600,000 rounds of ammunition ready—and he knows where to get some more when that's gone. Knock 'em dead, boys; knock 'em dead!
Wheels and squeals and bumps and bowls—yes, Cyclone Bowls. Guide 'em, kids; guide 'em! Get outa the way! Here goes for a trip on an old hurricane!
The Palace of Wonders, full of surprises—startling, sudden, puzzling. For instance, where does the human head that the diving girl gets when she arises from the waves come from? How can she walk on air? Go in and find out.
Two Beautiful Ballrooms
Two ballrooms—big, beautiful, airy, smooth floors and melting melodies that make you float about with the grace of a fawn or jazzy strains that make you trot around like a young colt. Peppy? Just tell the world that it is. and so is the roller skating rink, where the world's best skaters are trained sand where the world's best fun can be had.
Where You Can Park Your Car
"So this is Venice"—and the old family bus can be parked right outside while you take the boat ride, for the parking space is a heap bigger this year.
Ball parks, bowling alleys, billiard rooms, chutes, racing coaster, pep—everything in the world for paw and maw and the kids, for sweethearts and pals. All Chicago loves White City and all Chicago finds its way there during the summer season.
And tonight the big fun starts. Come on, grownups! Come on, kids!
