Sheridan Plaza Hotel

The Sheridan Plaza Hotel was built in 1920 on the northeast corner of Wilson Avenue and Sheridan Road. Designed by architect W.W. Ahlschlager, the Sheridan Plaza was one of more elegant residential hotels that opened in Uptown during the building boom following the completion of the North Side Elevated through the district.

The Sheridan Plaza remains a familiar landmark to many North Siders today.
