The Leopold and Loeb Case of 1924

When investigators first questioned Leopold and Loeb, they denied any involvement in the murder of Bobby Franks and offered a detailed alibi. This map, published by the Tribune, illustrated the pair's claims about their whereabouts in the hours after the boy's disappearance. They later recanted their story and confessed to the crime.
